The train arrived on time only to be delayed for 15 mins at Henderson, which is common and happens a lot. However there were then a series of 5-10 minute delays between various stations, to make the usual 40 minute trip take a grand total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. Excellent start to the year, I hope this isn't how things are going to continue.
On a related note, I had a read of the October 2006 train planning information booklet the other day. It made for some interesting reading. It's filled with their projects planned over the next few years, and there's a few little things thrown in there which look to make some good changes. Namely for me, a direct route from Boston Road to Britomart (bypassing Newmarket), and changing the layout of Newmarket station, as well as a couple of new stations as a result of the double tracking (including mine, yay). The brochure made the future look all bright and cheery, however todays commute has left me slightly unsure!
Finally, on the same note, yesterday was supposed to be the first day of the increased prices. I wouldn't know though, because the only Ticket Agent close to me was completely sold out. No tickets. Excellent work, great planning.

Microsoft AJAX Extensions: Sys.Debug is null or not an object
One of the breaking changes which was made with
the 1.0 release of the Microsoft Ajax Extensions was the renaming
of the 'Debug' class to 'Sys.Debug' for reasons of compatiability

Adding Tooltips to Gridview Headers
As the title says, this is a very simple but dynamic way of achieving tooltip text on a header column. It's not overly flash, but it's lightweight and quick to implement.
