Using Dropbox and TortoiseSVN together

If you’re using both of these tools, then chances are you’ll want to know about fixing Icon Overlays for Dropbox + TortoiseSVN.

It’s interesting to note that the number of overlays in Windows is limited, even in Windows 7. When I read that I was quite surprised I hadn’t run into the problem sooner.

    There is a related problem I had - no icons. If your directory is on a network disk, by devault SVN will not show icons. You need to set the switch by the following:

    Right click any svn file

    Tortoise svn->settings->iconOverlays

    Check “network drives” checkbox; hit OK.
